My first camera was one my dad gave me, the classic Canon AE-1. For those that know that camera know how incredible this manual camera was and still is today.

I got really into the art of photography when I realized what it meant to others - capturing fleeting moments that would otherwise be forgotten. It meant telling a story through a sequence of images. I learned quite quickly the value of what I could do with a camera. Not only that, I discovered how much I like meeting new people and forming new relationships with people. I found that I had a style of shooting that was uniquely me; a style I've developed into something that allows me the satisfaction of distinct creativity.

I'm married to one of the greatest women and friends I've ever met.

My wife Tamara works 10 times as hard as me as a full time mom and KidZone Children's Pastor at our local church, The Dream Centre in Medicine Hat (not to mention she's substitute teaching). We have 3 children that give me more purpose than I could ever have imagined. It makes me very emotional knowing that I'm responsible to raising 3 of the brightest and beautiful kids I've ever known.

I also am an avid supporter of my local church and the God who is so passionate about it. I've been planted in the Dream Centre Church for over 10 years; a church that is constantly in motion. It's an honour to have been the first staff member when it began. It's an incredible organization that has allowed me to flourish creatively, they've supported my career and invested incredible resources into my life and the life of my business. I proudly serve the local church with my creative gifts and services as much as I can.
